Area information

Hotel Urban is located in Madrid´s old centre of Austrias, just a few minutes walk from the triangle of museums made up of the Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofía.

Take a pleasant stroll through the nearby Retiro Park or visit the tourist attractions of Puerta del Sol and Congress House, both a stone´s throw away.

the suite was a waste of money as we never used the upstairs sitting room

Incredible service, location and roof terrace. I enjoyed a wonderful welcome and the rooms were spotless and luxurious. Excellent all round.

The Interior design was very nice, the roof terrace was amazing and the rooms were very cool!

I would suggest the roof terrace would be better if the bar was smaller and there was more room around the pool- to make room for more sun loungers

Location

The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. The choice of room service was poor. Security in the room for a female traveler was poor - no peep hole & no chain on the door. The wooden floors made a good night's sleep impossible - you could hear voices & doors slamming in the corridor and people in the rooms on either side.

You could not stay at a more hip/chic hotel in Madrid. the Glass bar downstairs is the place to be on weekends and the pool upstairs is a must to have a drink
