Recently refurbished, elegant Augusta Lucilla Palace is housed in a restored 18th century building in a nice area close to Rome’s Termini station and beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore Church.

From this modern and refined hotel the whole of Rome will be at your fingertips; the main station, where you can catch the Metro and find trains and buses which will take you across the city, is just 400 metres away. Many sights, such as the Coliseum and the Trevi fountains are within walking distance from your hotel and in the pretty streets nearby you will find numerous typical bars and restaurants.

Augusta Lucilla offers excellent service, with helpful, multilingual staff and modern facilities. All of its newly renovated rooms are bright and comfortable, decorated in a contemporary style with luxurious furnishings.

The hotel’s spectacular roof garden is always popular too – you can enjoy a snack or a drink on the panoramic terrace while taking in exceptional views of the city’s domes and monuments.

Very friendly staff here. The bathroom was fab, really modern and the jacuzzi shower was marvellous. The location was great, making it easy to walk to Termini station for the shuttle to the airport and for walking to all the tourist areas. The breakfast was really good, plenty of choice

The room was a bit dark, the lighting was quite low, but it was not a real problem

the staff were friendly, no confusion with our booking. Breakfast was excellent, a very good choice, hot and cold, cannot fault it. Room was very clean, and was fine as a base. fresh towels, tidied during the day.We were not bothered by noise at night. I would stay there again, a good base for exploring the city. There were 3 - 4 restaurants nearby who served good and not too expensive food.

No bar, but there was a fridge in the room with a few bits.

THe whole environment, close to the main touristic attractions, the hotel personnel very kind, everyone spoke english, gave information about places, etc.

The room smelled cigarrettes, although it was for non-smokers.

It was close and handy to the train and bus stations and easy to get to most of the attractions of Rome. It was very clean, staff were very helpful.

Loved the rooms and the people.

The first room we got had not yet been cleaned but they moved us to a new one in seconds and were very nice about it.
